**Position: Accounts Payable Administrator - Hourly, 1 Year Contract**
**Department**: Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd., Brokerage
**Reporting to**: Assistant Controller

**Value & Overview of the Role**
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for reviewing and accurately processing a high volume of invoices for the Corporately owned offices of Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd., Brokerage.

**Accountabilities**
- Processing vendor invoices, expense reports and Realtor® charges in an accurate and timely fashion ensuring coding is correct and all invoices are properly authorized.
- Understanding and adhering to company purchase and payables policies and validating appropriate invoice approvals and spending limits
- Responsible for regular weekly cheque runs, including matching and distributing cheques and processing of EFT’s.
- Responding to payment inquiries from vendors and/or internal departments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Posting cash receipts - cheques, credit cards, pre-authorized debits - to Realtor® account on a daily/ monthly basis.
- Assisting with special projects as assigned by management team.

**Skills**
- Strong attention to detail with ability to process high volumes of invoices quickly and accurately
- Self-starter, analytical and critical thinker would be desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well within the team

**Knowledge**
- Solid Knowledge of accounting practices
- Proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel) and Gmail
- Previous experience with Back Office software (LoneWolf) would be an asset

**Education / Work Experience**
- College or University Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
- Previous business experience in a real estate accounting office would be an asset

**Other Information**
- One Year Contract Position, Hourly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
