Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and competent Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and the General Ledger
- Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Preparing and managing payroll processing, filing ROEs and T4 slips
- Completing and submitting GST, PST and Worksafe BC remittances
- Preparing year-end files and detailed analytical reports
- Filing, opening and sorting mail, organizing couriers, and other general office duties

**Requirements**:

- Bookkeeping - 2 years experience or equivalent education (preferred)
- Microsoft office and Sage50 - 1 year (preferred)
- Understanding of office procedures and equipment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Self-motivated individual
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Team player who is easy going, flexible and adaptable to changing work environment
- Valid BC Driver’s License

3 months probation

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 (30hrs)

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour
