Atlas Engineered Products (AEP), located in central Nanaimo, provides professional design services, supplies engineered wood products, and manufactures roof and floor trusses to contractors, builders, and homeowners. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent, Bookkeeper to support our operations to support our BC locations. This position is based in our office in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
The Bookkeeper will be accountable for working with the bookkeeping and finance teams to assist in the day-to-day bookkeeping supporting multiple locations. This position will be based in the office to help support some admin duties while assisting with bookkeeping for AEP locations within BC.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, invoicing, collections, payables, payroll, monthly statements, assisting with the year-end audit, GST/PST/Source filings, bank administration, monthly inventory, and more. This position would also provide additional backup support for all administration duties within the office.

**Qualifications and Experiences**:
- Minimum 2 + years of experience with full cycle bookkeeping;
- Experience processing payroll is an asset;
- Working experience with an ERP system is an asset;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with other staff, suppliers, and customers;
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to provide clear, concise, and detailed instruction to multiple stakeholders;
- Fluency in English in written, and verbal communication
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel;
- Experience with growing companies supporting builders, construction, or multi-site manufacturing organizations would be considered an asset;
