**The Team**
Join the Strategic Priorities Team at BC Wildfire Service, a small, established team dedicated to aligning the organization’s goals. You’ll collaborate with leadership and communications teams, in an inclusive environment that values teamwork, motivation, and a shared sense of purpose.

**The Role**
In this role, you’ll facilitate work planning, quarterly reporting, and moderate the bi-weekly Priorities Forum. You’ll also maintain key reference documents while working with a wide range of staff, offering great exposure to the organization’s diverse teams in a supportive, inclusive environment.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Technical diploma in a field related to forestry, resource management, public administration business administration or equivalent knowledge plus 1 years related experience; or
- Grade 12 or equivalent plus 3 years related experience.
- Related experience: working in a natural resource management or emergency response environment.
- Experience with work planning, business planning and/or strategic planning

Provisos and Willingness Statements:

- Valid class 5 driver’s licence
- To be flexible regarding ongoing changes in responsibilities, assignments and corporate structures.
- To keep current on emerging issues.
- To take in-house training and certification as required.

**About this Position**:
Flexible work options may not be available during emergency operations response periods.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
