**The Team**
The Reports Team within the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) supports the mandate of the PHO to monitor and report on the health of the population of BC through the production and launch of PHO reports. It is led by a Project Director and includes two senior analysts/lead managers (RO27) focused on research and reporting initiatives, along with three analysts/managers (RO24) dedicated to research and writing. In the production of PHO reports, the team actively works to support the Office of the PHO’s commitment to upholding Indigenous rights, anti-racist approaches and truth and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Métis and Inuit).

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of research and/or writing and 1 year **related experience** **OR**;
- Diploma in a discipline related to the field of research and/or writing and 2 years **related experience** **OR**;
- An equivalent combination of education and 3 years **related experience **may be considered.
- **Note **Examples of related field of research and/or writing: Public Health, Public Administration, Health Administration, Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, Journalism, Writing, Communication, Political Sciences, and Gender Studies.
- **Related experience must include in each of the following**:

- Experience conducting research and analysis of issues to support the development of policy or the evaluation of programs.
- Experience writing and editing a wide variety of materials.
- Experience organizing and coordinating projects or project components.
- Experience providing secretariat support for multi-stakeholder committees.

**Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following**:

- Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations.
- Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
