- **The Opportunity**:_
- Executive assistance tasks such as diarizing calendars, coordinating meetings, and greeting clients;
- Monitoring and prioritizing deadlines for action and follow up;
- Client billing and account management;
- Document preparation and revision;
- Communicating with clients in a cordial and timely manner;
- Onboarding new clients;
- Coordinating court filings; and
- Other tasks as required.
- **Qualifications**:_
- A **minimum of three (3) years** of work experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in labour and/or employment law or civil litigation, is required;
- Completion of a law administrative certificate or law clerk program/diploma is required;
- An excellent attention to detail is required;
- Clear oral and written communication skills are required;
- The ability to work closely, and in collaboration with lawyers, other clerks, and staff is required;
- The ability to work and reason independently on client files is required;
- Superior organization and prioritization skills are required to accurately manage files;
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact directly and diplomatically with counsel and other legal professionals outside of the firm, as well as with our clients.
