The Receptionist/Administration Clerk is responsible for providing a positive first impression of the organization to callers and visitors via telephone, in person, via on-line registration, and one-on-one. This role is the initial conduit between clients, other stakeholders, and the staff of WDGPH. This role must understand and provide client-focused service which builds and maintains the client relationship by interacting positively, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel valued.
The Receptionist/Administration Clerk must ensure clients are served according to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and other privacy acts. This role requires that you perform data entry within your level of responsibility in a timely and accurate manner, as the quality of work affects data interpretation at all levels. This role is also responsible for daily filing, scanning, uploading, and entering clients' results into our database. This role includes frequent handling of cash and daily close out.

Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

**Requirements**:
- Secondary school diploma, 1 year work experience;
- Excellent telephone manner, customer service skills, client-focused approach;
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help create a working environment that promotes success;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent computer skills, scheduling, word processing;
- Numeracy skills;
- Tact and discretion required;
- Able to multitask;
- Good basic problem-solving skills;
- Organizational skills, attention to detail;
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
