Receptionist/administrator

**Duties**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail - oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our office and customer service counter.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner and assisting with counter sales
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry and scanning documents
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
**Skills**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong data entry and clerical skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- To work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
- Previous experience in the steel industry would be an asset but not required

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
