Boston Pizza is currently seeking to identify a Coordinator for the Boston Pizza Foundation. The Foundation Coordinator position plays a pivotal role in the success of our Foundation and its events. The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for all support for the Foundation team, while fulfilling various responsibilities surrounding Foundation fundraising events and national charity promotions. Working alongside our national charity partners, Big Brothers Big Sisters, JDRF, Kids Help Phone, Live Different, Rick Hansen Foundation and other programs that mentor kids to reach their full potential.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead administrative hand for all Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects communication materials.
- Management of Foundation shared drive and Foundation archives.
- Support in the development and distribute BPF materials - memos, articles, community info sheets, etc. (internally/externally).
- Manage and update all Boston Pizza Foundation (BPF) content on intranet.
- Support in the development of Foundation presentations.
- Ongoing communication and project coordination with designers, printers, suppliers, and charity partners.
- Assist and liaison with a variety of BPI departments on shared campaigns or intersections including Finance, Operations, Marketing and IT.
- Assist the Manager of Partnerships and Programs with local store charity program administration and processing.
- Assist the Manager of Partnerships and Programs with monthly expenses as required.
- Develop connections and liaison with Community Relations Coordinators in BP restaurants on a regular basis to assist in helping local events leverage the Future Prospects branding.
- Coordinate with BP Marketing department regarding design centre content. i.e. ensuring content is up to date and applicable.
- Other ad hoc functions as assigned.

**Duties & Responsibilities by function**

Events and Fundraising
- Assist in planning of charity golf tournament and committee meetings (Boston Pizza Foundation Invitational).
- An example of duties include: Coordinate team registration, update tournament website and communication materials, manages meeting requests, orders lunch, and prepares and circulates minutes as required.
- Provide support in planning charitable fundraising for internal office events, i.e. our annual Passport to Fun.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of new fundraising campaigns and potential new Boston Pizza philanthropic relationships as required.

Social Media
- Be the voice of BPFFP by managing all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on partner channels, and encourages audience participation
- Assist with “live” social media management through large projects, events, and community management

***Executive Support
- Maintain files of all personal executive documents including correspondences, itineraries, and meetings, either in personal files or in the central filing system.
- Assist with personal/family travel arrangements as required for the Executive Director. Provide personal schedules and daily reminders of meetings, preparations required, etc.
- As required, maintain calendars, contacts and produce travel itineraries.
- Administrative tasks may extend to family members of the Executive Director.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, New Media, Journalism, Communications or another relevant field
- Minimum 3-4 years of administrative experience or related job experience.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technology and act proactively
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under supervision yet is also confident to exercise own judgment when necessary.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Boston Pizza knowledge and charity experience an asset.
- Event planning experience an asset.
- Flexibility is an asset as some weekend and after hours work will be required.

***Compensation and benefits package is commensurate with experience.
