Job Summary:
Reporting to the Field HR Supervisor, this role is responsible for the administrative functions relating to the responsibilities of the Canadian Field HR Department. This role is responsible for general administration, including front reception duties, data entry, records management, filing and any other responsibilities within the scope of the Canadian Field HR Department. This role may also assist with projects, reporting and process improvement as related to the Canadian Field HR Department.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Entry into the HRMS system (AX) of all employee and position data
- General reception duties including but not limited to; greeting visitors, handling incoming calls
- Requesting and verifying employee information as required by internal and external processes
- Executing and analyzing key ad-hoc and scheduled reporting
- Responsible for addressing Field HR requirements for assigned employee group
- Responsible for assisting HR recruiters/cooridnators with training requirements for field employees
- Supporting the Field HR Department in the communication and reinforcement of company policies and procedures
- Maintaining daily working relationships with Field Human Resources, Rig Managers and recruitment group
- Processing and entry of crew lists, terminations, disciplinary actions and employee record changes in a timely manner
- Professionally corresponding with all internal and external clients and peers
- Maintaining and archiving employee files
- Providing support to Director, Field HR

Technical Competencies:

- Technically experienced with data entry into an HRMS system
- Intermediate level of Microsoft office, including Excel, Work, OUtlook

Behavioral Competencies:

- Must excel at customer service and relationship management
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to work as a collaborator on a team
- Willing to take direction from multiple sources
- Ability to balance process improvement and process stabilization
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities and changing workloads
- Must have a high level of confidentiality

Education and Experience:

- 2 years' experience in a Human Resouces or equally confidential administrative role
- Education in HR or Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a front-line customer service capacity
