Human Resources Coordinator

This is a blended role that will allow you to touch every corner of the Human Resources department. From performing general HR administration duties to jumping in and aiding the recruiting team with onboarding tasks to learning the basics on keeping the tools and software moving, no two days will be the same. This is an exciting and demanding position for an individual who loves a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**What you get to do**:
**Human Resources Support**:
- Provide HR administrative support, including new hire and termination processes, and maintenance of employee records
- Process, verify and register confidential information into the HR system for new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers
- Maintain and update hardcopy and computerized filing systems, working with employee files and applicant tracking databases
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding on-boarding issues in a timely manner
- Aid in administering company Benefit plan
**Recruitment Support**:
- Utilize Taleo on-boarding program for offer creation and onboarding tasks
**HRIS Support**:
- Create, modify and update a variety of forms including those with autofill, electronic signatures, checklists and document tracking using programs including Adobe, Excel, Word and Taleo
- Draft templates for Offer Letters, onboarding forms, and employee orientations
- Manage system access for users in a variety of internal and external software programs including those that use two-step verification and redundant authentication systems
- Troubleshoot software issues as needed, including those involving access, functionality, and data integrity in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Support the Human Resources team by providing direction on data management best practices, prioritization and surge planning
**What we’re looking for**:
- 3 years as a Human Resources Assistant or Administrator, or as a Junior Recruiter
- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or a related field is considered an asset
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Suite (Office 365, Sharepoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with HR software such as JD Edwards, Taleo
- Strong sense of confidentiality at all times
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Previous experience working with Skilled Trades is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
