This in-office position reports to the Director of Sales. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the company's proposal process and oversees proposal activities to develop RFP-compliant, competitive, and quality marketing materials, proposals, statements of qualification, and presentations.

**Your Role**
- Perform research and interview staff to help write/translate complex concepts into a narrative that can be understood by non-technical readers.
- Independently respond to routine requests for information from Project Managers on non-complex or non-strategic bids.
- Independently create and populate forms to be included in proposal submissions and assists in obtaining appropriate signatures
- Navigate government and municipality contract proposal processes, identifying requirements and avoiding pitfalls.
- Employing excellent understanding of construction work, sequencing and implementation planning.
- You will be responsible for searching for opportunities on bid sites, maintaining libraries of information, leading CRM data and workflow, and development of marketing material. Typical projects include multi-unit residential buildings such as affordable housing, seniors housing, and condominiums.
- Works under the guidance of the Director of Sales to enhance proposal content.
- you will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Estimators, Design team, and suppliers to develop both competitive and sole-source proposals for RFI’s/RFP’s/RFQ’s
- Responsible for developing and producing excellent RFQs, RFPs, Expressions of Interest, and proposals from development to contract award.
- This is key to successfully developing high-quality proposals that address customer requirements in a timely manner and within the allocated proposal budget.

**Requirement Compliance Matrix**
- Full ownership and leadership of proposal development, strategy, and delivery for pursuits of $1 million or more, or deemed strategic**.**:

- Develop graphical content (organization charts, info graphics, photographs) with project team and graphics specialists.
- You will create bidding and proposal project plans (timelines, deliverables, review schedules, risk assessments, trade-offs, and internal signoff’s), establish and maintain the budget for each proposal activity.
- You will coordinate with the designers, estimators on proposal activities, such as: proposal kickoff meeting with the proposal team, segregate requirements relevant to each department (engineering, finance, service, operation, etc.), assign bidding and documentation activities, and track all activities.
- You will plan, prepare and conduct proposal reviews at all levels including individual contributors, leads, department heads and management. You will work closely with the execution team to create a complete proposal package for the customer, including technical proposals, business proposals, service proposals, and sales presentations.
- You will draft non-technical sections (Executive Summary, Introduction, Timeline, Budget, Evaluation and Metrics, Risk Management, and Conclusion) of the proposal.
- You will establish the proposal pricing structure according to customer requirements and in coordination with business unit team.
- You will manage post proposal activities such as Q&A responses, scope change, revisions, and pricing updates.
- You will conduct research to support proposal development, including market research and competitor analysis.
- You will develop and maintain a library of proposal templates, standard language, and other resources to support proposal development. You will improve the efficiency of the proposal process and reduce response times - delivering better value to our clients in less time.

**Qualification/ Your Profile**
- You have a BS degree with strong background in engineering, estimating or design along with extensive experience in proposal development, procurement, and contract negotiation. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in proposal management for design build background preferably in complex and construction related contracts.
