**Overview**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff management. If you have a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes, along with strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
We have a flexible schedule focussed on breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner service. We will be closed Mondays and from 2 to 5pm daily.
Key opportunities are a separate catering kitchen as well as food service to the hotel including the bar and banquet facilities.
The Bull & Filly will be focussed on the dining experience using great wine, amazing service and passionately executed European classics and more.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and create new menu items that align with our culinary vision
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor kitchen equipment and schedule repairs or maintenance as needed
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create unique and flavorful dishes
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
