Trudell Medical Limited is the Corporate entity within the Trudell Medical Group of Companies and operates out of our offices in London Ontario Canada.
**Payroll and Benefits Specialist **is a role in our People and Culture team.

Reporting to our Manager, Payroll and Benefits, you will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. You will support the Human Resources teams and employees across the Trudell Medical Group of Companies with benefit, pension and HRIS administration.
Specifically, you will focus on:
**Payroll**
- Administer and process high volume, full cycle payroll** **for assigned Companies
- Enter and process new hires, changes and terminations in both HRIS and Purely HR
- Maintain payroll related data files** **including electronic files in the HRIS
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with payroll related legislative requirements
- Ensure biweekly payroll** **packages** **are prepared and distributed to applicable Finance Departments
- Ensure time records are updated and issued to all applicable employees
- Coordinate Employee Self Service (ESS)** **registration and login
- Ensure accurate eRoes** **files are uploaded to the HRIS and Service Canada
- Assist with the distribution of accurate annual T4s** **in a timely manner
- Assist the Senior Manager, Payroll, Benefits and HR Admin with payroll related audits
**Benefits**
- Process employee** **benefit enrolments, changes and terminations** **using insurance provider(s)' systems
- Verify and support the calculation of the monthly benefit insurance premium statements
- Ensure employee benefit inquiries** **are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure understanding and compliance for while-on-leave processes**, **e.g. legislative requirements
**Pension**
- Ensure accurate pension enrolments** **by reviewing forms ahead of submissions
- Ensure effective pension administration** **by hosting enrolment meetings, coordinating enrolments, terminations, and employee changes
- Process employee pension contributions** **in the HRIS
- Ensure bi-weekly contribution files** **are reconciled
**Communication**
- Ensure clear and concise communications with both internal and external customers
