**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Use effective interpersonal and communication skills with students, faculty, management and external partners.

- Maintain contacts with computer software industry and professional associations.
- Remain current in technical knowledge and instructional delivery methodologies.
- Attend meetings, maintain student grades/assessments and participate in activities pertinent to faculty responsibilities.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience in game development industry combined with the following:

- Strong foundation in software engineering, computer programming (Data Structures and Algorithms, C#, C++, JavaScript), graphics, game design, game engines (Unity, Unreal), and game development tools (3D modeling and animation software like Blender, Image editing and manipulation software, such as Adobe Photoshop and GIMP, Audio editing and production software, such as Pro Tools, Level editors and design tools, such as UnrealEd and Unity Editor, Version control systems, such as Git, Bug tracking and project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello)
- Creative vision and team leadership within a game development studio.
- Ability to lead projects, motivate students, and foster teamwork.
- Minimum of two (2) years program related teaching experience at the adult and/or post-secondary level.
- Demonstrated experience in program related applied research and proposal writing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of an LMS system, use of technology to enhance teaching and learning and creating an inclusive and engaging online classroom.
- Demonstrated ability with online, hybrid, and blended learning methods of delivery and assessment.
- Demonstrated excellence in written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for game development.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse student, staff and college community
