Position Summary

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related discipline. Ph.D. preferred.
- Industry certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or other recognized certificate.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience combined with the following:

- Deep understanding of technical design, implementation, and use of private clouds, public clouds, hybrid clouds, and multiclouds.
- Deployment of technical cloud solutions on one of the following platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with cloud security and its domains.
- Applied knowledge of networking basics and network virtualization
- knowledge of Python programming language, APIs used in the cloud and Linux system design and administration are preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years program related teaching experience at the adult and/or post-secondary level.
- Demonstrated experience in program related applied research and proposal writing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of an LMS system, use of technology to enhance teaching and learning and creating an inclusive and engaging online classroom.
- Demonstrated ability with online, hybrid, and blended learning methods of delivery and assessment.
- Demonstrated excellence in written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse student, staff and college community
