**Position Summary**
- Development program (6432) offered through School of Communications, Media, Arts and design. The program includes 2D Design Principles, Game Design Process, User Experience, etc.

**Responsibilities**
- Teach using a variety of strategies to support student-centered learning.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication and knowledge of cultural competency in interactions with the students public, colleagues, and other professionals in internal and external educational and practice settings
- Develop, revise and adapt appropriate learning resources for students
- Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes using a variety of techniques and provide meaningful and timely feedback
- Maintain records of student grades/assessments and post grades
- Engage students to create a positive teaching and learning environment
- Demonstrate an ability to work in a team-based work environment
- Use academic technology effectively to enhance and support learning
- Provide and promote a respectful and supportive environment based upon the principles of inclusion, equity and diversity
- Attend program meetings

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), Master’s degree preferred.
- Three years of industry work experience in game development industry.
- Technical expertise in two or more of the following:

- Unity3D Programming and User Experience (UX)
- Advanced Graphics
- Unreal Programming
- 3D Modeling
- Experience in teaching and course material development is an asset.
- Demonstrated competent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community.

Proof of credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post secondary institutions and/or their foreign equivalents will be required at the time of job offer.
