**Who We Are**:
Heritage Park is Canada's largest living history museum and offers visitors a chance to experience life in Western Canada from the 1860s to the early 1950s. The Park features historical buildings, costumed interpreters, working antiques, and various exhibits that provide insight into the region's past.

**Job Overview**:
As the Manager of People and Culture at Heritage Park, this role will serve as a key member of the people leadership team, responsible for executing strategic initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive company culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the overall well-being of the workforce. This role requires an experienced HR professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategic Leadership
- Work with the leadership to develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies and key performance indicators that drive organizational change and align with the company’s vision, mission, and values
- Evaluate emerging HR and volunteer engagement trends and impacts to business operations and adjust program management accordingly
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity and engagement

Human Resources Management
- Lead the HR team in the efficient and cost-effective delivery of HR services, including total compensation and employee relations.
- Leverage data, analytics and HR systems to optimize HR processes and inform decision-making.
- Implement HR policies and procedures that support the organization's strategic objectives.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Lead employee relations matters from coaching, conflict resolution, and mediation to workplace investigations for employees and volunteers.
- In charge of coaching managers on performance management and progressive discipline processes.
- Create a culture of trusted partnerships with all employees and stakeholders, providing resources and advisory services.
- Manage internal communications strategies to promote transparency, engagement and alignment with organizational goals. Foster a culture of effective communication and feedback.
- Oversees the management of workplace accommodations and return-to-work planning for all staff, including WCB and non-occupational claims, in accordance with the collective agreements and best practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs to promote the physical, mental and emotional well-being of employees.
- Recommends engagement strategies and initiatives to the senior leadership team based on regular requirements, industry standards and organizational needs.
