**Reports To**: People and Culture Supervisor
**About the Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive People and Culture Coordinator to be a key player on our team. In this role, you will oversee the administration of People and Culture processes ensuring clear communication, attention to detail, and timely execution. As the go-to person for all People and Culture inquiries, you’ll provide seamless support, foster collaboration, and drive impactful initiatives that align with our organization’s values and goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Coordination**:

- Act as the primary contact for employee and leader inquiries, offering guidance on People and Culture processes and procedures and escalating as needed.
- Work closely with the People and Culture team, cross-functional departments, and stakeholders to support a variety of initiatives, from recruitment and engagement to training and performance management.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with employees and leaders to keep everyone informed and our operations running smoothly.

**Administrative**:

- Manage the HRIS, handling user access and permissions, creation and upkeep of job assignments and paygrades, data entry, reporting, and completion of ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Update and enhance resources on Docusign and the People and Culture SharePoint site, ensuring all documents and templates are accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of employee records according to policy, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Draft, review, and process offer letters, handling all details with precision and promptness.
- Support onboarding for new hires and students, tracking necessary documentation to ensure a smooth start.
- Aid in the performance review process, ensuring accurate record-keeping for employment conditions, required training, and rate increases.
- Manage and administer employee engagement initiatives including technology incentives and referral rewards.
- Act as backup for the Learning & Development Coordinator and provide administrative coverage for the People and Culture Generalist as needed.
- Take on additional tasks and projects to advance departmental and organizational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
- Experience with HRIS, specifically Ceridian Dayforce, is an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily indoor work at Wood’s Homes Administration Office
- Prolonged periods of sitting
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote
