**THE ROLE**:People and Culture (P&C) Analyst
**LOCATION**: Calgary, Alberta
**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Support the development of people and culture initiatives and special projects
- HRIS admin (BambooHR): entering new hires, processing team member changes, background checks, platform improvements, maintenance, etc.
- Support with monthly learning and development opportunities for the larger team, individuals, and third parties (e.g. mentorship programs, annual hackathon, Platform events, etc.)
- Handle onboarding for new employees including coordinating with the operations team and hiring manager to prepare for the first day, facilitate day 1 onboarding sessions, conduct employee check-in, continually update the process, etc.
- Assist with producing employee documentation including offer letters, promotion agreements, and termination and resignation documentation as required
- Support the recruitment team with talent acquisition as required (i.e. posting jobs, reviewing resumes, setting up meetings, coordinating job fairs, etc.)
- Support with the planning and execution of team events and celebrations
- Propose continual process improvements to P&C standard operating procedures to improve efficiencies
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to manage compensation and benefits programs
- Support with employees and leadership in employee relations matters
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures and perform regular audits to ensure HR processes are compliant and efficient
- Implement and manage performance management cycles on Showpass’ HRIS
- Support with administrative duties for the People & Culture and Executive teams
- Provide general administrative support for the P&C team as required
**THE QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or business or similar is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources is required
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail is required
- A knack for proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of P&C standard operating procedures
- Passion for event planning; experience planning and executing events as an asset
- The desire to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- A self-starter, driven by a strong growth mindset
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with various groups within the organization, embodying Showpass's commitment to bringing people together
- Ability to quickly shift tasks and responsibilities due to fast-changing priorities
- Strong organizational and process-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to problem-solve critical roadblocks
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations with poise and empathy
- Must be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism
- Ability to be calm, positive and approachable in difficult situations
