**Position Summary**:
This position will perform clerical duties associated with the department, including maintaining and updating databases, assisting with the collection & compilation of presentation materials, scheduling, booking meetings and appointments, and payroll entry. Duties also include filing, telephone, reception, minutes, invoicing, rebates, external recovery documentation and ordering supplies.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Secretarial program or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of secretarial experience, preferably in a health care environment
- Self-directed individual who possesses initiative combined with the ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written, combined with a customer focused approach and ability to handle requests in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner
- Responds to the needs of the Director, Leadership Team and Pharmacy Staff members
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet the competing demands and timelines of the fast paced, day-to-day operations
- Proven abilities in preparing, designing and distributing internal/external correspondence, including: reports, presentations, proposals, letters, memos, minutes of meetings, etc.
- Strong working knowledge and advanced technical skills in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Zoom, Skype, Paradigm, etc.
- High accuracy and attention to detail when performing a wide variety of tasks and interruptions
- Experience and ability in coordinating meetings, room setups and doodles
- Well-developed keyboarding skills (50 w.p.m. minimum-accuracy)
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Must have a positive work and attendance record
