**Job Posting - General Manager, Club Operations - Retirement Condominium**

Hearthstone by the Bay, a retirement condominium in Etobicoke, nestled along the shores of Lake Ontario, offers a variety of services and programs to those who call Hearthstone home. We currently have an opportunity for a Finance and Administration Coordinator, to work with a dedicated team to provide exceptional services to condominium residents. Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance & Admin Coordinator is responsible for several key areas within the community, including office management, accounting, and payroll.

**Daily Responsibilities of a Finance and Admin Coordinator**
- Oversees payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and all related functions.
- Manage the administrative office, including ordering of supplies, equipment, name badges and uniforms.
- Enroll/update homeowner member status as required and maintain member accounts in the property management system (Jonas).
- Meets and communicates with residents and/or families to resolve issues, concerns, or complaints regarding resident accounts.
- Process and post all Club charges to homeowners, condo corporation and subcontractors through Property Management System (Jonas).
- Respond to, investigate, and process all billing inquiries and disputes from residents. Process adjustments to accounts as required.
- Collect all cheques and prepare timely bank deposits for the Company.
- Prepare monthly reporting of financials for the General Manager and corporate team.
- Prepares the monthly Basic Service Plan (BSP) billing to TSCC 2078.
- Prepare month end reporting package for General Manager.
- Manage Visa reconciliation, petty cash reimbursements and cheque requisitions.
- Administers HR functions including personnel files.
- Process and submit staff payroll every second week.
- Issue Record of Employment to any staff where there is an interruption of earnings.
- Participates in the development and implementation of long and short-term strategies, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures within the community.

- Successful completion of post-secondary education in business administration. A university degree is preferred.
- Must have minimum five years financial or business experience and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Previous experience within a retirement residence, hotel setting, or private membership club is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to handle interaction with residents, families, staff, and owners.
- You are customer service driven, with a passion for working with seniors.
- Must be able to effectively deal with problem solving situations and be able to make short
- and long-term judgement decisions.
- Demonstrated willingness to work independently and be motivated by self
- direction.
