**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be integral in supporting the Marketing Director with:

- ** Lead Generation.** You’re on the front lines of communicating with our audiences and ensuring we’re building a healthy marketing funnel of engaged drummers.
- **Copywriting**. You’ll be expected to write professional and engaging copy that drummers of all backgrounds can relate to.
- **Advertising**. You’ll be responsible for writing ads that drive people to our free & paid resources. This means you’ll get to know our audience better than anyone and take helping them seriously.
- **Asset Creation.** Execution is key - you’ll be coordinating video & photo shoots, hunting down testimonials, and doing whatever it takes to create attention-grabbing advertising assets.
- **Miscellaneous projects**. Some of the most successful campaigns don’t fit under a single marketing branch. You’ll need to be flexible in identifying & tackling new opportunities as they arise.

**Key Qualifications**:
We want to harness your strengths while supporting your development - but we’re looking for somebody who is exceptional in a few areas:

- **Organization**. Drumeo has a growing team. That means you’ll need to stay on top of multiple schedules, studio bookings and more to ensure we’re hitting marketing deadlines.
- **Detail Oriented**. Millions of people see the words we write and the videos we release. You need to catch spelling errors, identify schedule conflicts, and have deep empathy for our audiences.
- **Education**. Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of two years and preferably a 4-year degree in a business-related university program.
- **Drummer OR Drum Enthusiast.** You love drumming - and preferably have experience playing the drums. (I.E. You know what a paradiddle is.)

- Mental Effort: A typical day consists of:

- 2-3 hours of routine mental effort for activities such as maintaining and managing databases, organizing and analyzing lead data and tracking progress and performance, proofreading and editing copy, ensuring grammatical accuracy, coordinating logistics for video and photo shoots, etc.
- 2-3 hours of intermittent periods of moderate mental effort for activities such as market research to identify potential target audiences, conducting research on drummer’s interests/preferences/pain points, sourcing and selecting relevant testimonials, coordinating with stakeholders for content creation, etc.
- Varied spurts of high mental effort activities such as: nurturing leads through personalized communication, continuously optimizing lead generation processing to ensure a healthy marketing funnel, identifying effective ad platforms and strategies, creating attention grabbing visuals, and ensuring the final assets effectively communicate the desired message and resonate with the target audience.
- Physical Effort:

- A typical day consists of 7 hours sitting/standing at a desk, in the studio or control room for a long duration and being able to look at a screen, and keyboarding. There’s a one-hour break, and there is some flexibility in terms of when you begin and start your day.

**Key Performance Indicators**:
As a member of the marketing team, your performance will be judged on:

- ** Awareness**. Are we reaching newer & larger audiences with our campaigns?
- **Leads**. What impact are you making on the quality & quantity of leads we’re bringing in?
- **Hitting Deadlines**. You’ll be responsible for ensuring we launch promotions on time and help coordinate the full arsenal of our marketing efforts.

**Reporting Structure**:
You will report directly to the Marketing Director (Drumeo)

**What we offer you**:

- $60,000 CAD/year, negotiable, and depending on experience (based on hiring a Marketing Coordinator).
