About The Company:
Our approach today is the same as it was 35 years ago: quality, commitment and integrity creates projects and partnerships that last decades. This was the mindset of our founders who started our company all those years ago, and it continues to drive how we work decades later.

From humble builder to forward-thinking construction partner, we’ve always been focused on moving our legacy forward through hands-on mentorship and, more recently, our Bosa Construction Legacy Scholarship to support future leaders in the trades.

Today, Bosa Construction collaborates with owners, consultants, and trades to construct residential, commercial, and institutional developments throughout the Lower Mainland, always with safety top of mind and backed by our COR safety certification. Some of our notable projects include Tesoro, North Harbour, Emerson, Axis - and many more to come.

About The Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Formwork Safety Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our Formwork Field Operations personnel. You'll be at the forefront of our Company Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Program, working hands-on with the formwork workforce to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance. - Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and hazard assessments;
- Perform construction tasks on-site, including basic carpentry work, building site fencing, and general labor related to on-site safety challenges;
- Collaborate with the General Contractor's Construction Safety Officer to maintain safety standards;
- Lead emergency responses for formwork crews and subcontractors;
- Assist injured workers with treatment and recovery, supporting Graduated Return-to-Work (GRTW) programs;
- Train employees on proper PPE use and safety regulations;
- Lead safety inspections, incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions;
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and corrective measures.

What You Bring:
We're looking for a passionate safety advocate who is articulate, professional, and accountable, with strong resourcefulness, collaboration skills, and adaptability. Effective time-management and problem-solving abilities are essential. Your dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and supporting your team through clear communication and proactive measures will be crucial for success in this role.
- Skills and Experience_
- Occupational First Aid Level-1 Certificate (with transportation endorsement);
