**Wodka Vines Agency** is an importer and distributor of wines and spirits and non-alcohol beverage products. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to represent our ever-increasing portfolio of fine wine and spirits in the Greater Vancouver area, Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island. Establishing sales with the intention to expand on premise and off-premise sales. Develop and maintain market exposure of company products throughout the Province of British Columbia, with focus on Vancouver lower mainland and Vancouver Island. Administer all sales activities reporting to management.

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to ownership in BC, this positions mission is to increase sales in the target market with the portfolio. This will involve growing new business while maintaining current accounts.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and coordinate product specific sales strategies for all products.
- Identify and map out sales target for each area.
- Co-ordinate appointments and actively undertake in meetings with targeted clients.
- Undertake regular meetings with clients for product sampling and sales.
- Record activities through the Master List of accounts in your territory
- Work with ownership to ensure targets are being met on a weekly basis
- Assist in preparation and implementation of presentation of products at selected events
- Other duties as requested by management

**Retail/Off-Premise**
- Work with managers and ownership at private liquor stores to sample and sell product
- Monitor product on shelves and work with customer to ensure merchandising standards are me
- Increase sales from accounts in territory
- Work with customers to demonstrate tastings to public consumers
- Budget management

**On-Premise**
- Drive sales of combined portfolios to on-premise accounts in territory by sampling and educating
- Work with Sommeliers / Managers / Owners to increase sales for our brands
- Find the needs of the customers and work with their venue concepts to create partnerships
- Educate staff by hosting presentations and trainings
- Budget management

In the **Territory Manager position **you will have accountability over a territory and be responsible for increasing distribution of our products by achieving set sales targets with various customers both large and small. You will work with customers to identify sales opportunities by presenting them selected offerings from our portfolio, as well as help identify merchandising opportunities to draw customers to our products.

**Qualifications**
- High school graduation, preferably with a college diploma in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration.
- Self Starter
- Specialized alcohol beverage product knowledge,
- WSET2 or greater or equivalent knowledge would be an asset.
- Good understanding of Cocktail culture
- Work experience within the beverage industry
- Sales and Marketing experience / skills
- Fluent written and oral English language skills
- Outgoing personality, enjoys interacting with customers and clients
- BC Driver Licence and car
- Serving It Right
- Sales: 2 years (preferred)

**Working conditions**

Position may include weekend and evening shifts during peak periods or during specific events. Trade events/Public Tastings and winery dinners. Will upon occasion involve some travel to different parts of British Columbia.
- Work Location: In person/ Work from home/
- Staff trainings in house to learn about new products, wine and sales.
- Support materials

**Physical Demands of Job**:

- Carrying and lifting 45-65 pounds.
- Immediate and overhead reaching to perform various duties.
- Standing and walking for periods of time to perform various duties.
- Squatting or bending to perform various duties as assigned.

**Compensation**:
This position is 100% uncapped commission above industry standard. Bonuses, Expenses and Shares in the business are negotiable. As it’s a growing company, packages and compensation grows with you.
