The Finance Clerk reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance and Administration, will execute the following responsibilities and other duties as assigned on behalf of Renewed Computer Technologies ( Ontario) (RCT) and demonstrate achievements and competencies in the following components of the job described below:
**Main Responsibilities**:
The Finance Clerk will be responsible for performing accounting assignments for the RCT suite of programs.

**Accounting & Financial Administration**
- Prepares customer invoices monthly for CFS and OUTREACH programs
- Process customer payments, prepare bank deposits and enter on Sage ERP
- Perform weekly analysis of Debit/Credit card client payments and reconcile against bank statements
- Enter weekly debit/credit card payments against customer accounts and deferred revenue
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable reconciliation
- Enter monthly journal entries, including interest earned, service charges, amortization and mortgage payments
- Prepare, post, and reconcile Customer Prepayment transactions monthly
- Code Accounts Payable invoices and post to SAGE ERP and cheque issuance
- Maintain a schedule of prepaid balance and post monthly expenses
- Enter chargebacks and reconcile AP clearing account transactions
- Copy all cheques issued and maintain a complete register by month of all payments received
- Maintain accurate vendor records and files which include invoices and copies of cheques issued.
- Compile data for tax receipt valuations/calculations and issuance to donors
- Receive and distribute mail to respective departments daily
- Prepare monthly WSIB and HST quarterly returns
- Perform routine analysis on customer sales against purchase orders, as required from time to time
- Assist with month-end closings (AP & AR) activities
- Assist and respond to customer inquiries from time to time, by phone and in-person
- Assist departmental and inter-departmental staff to resolve outstanding issues
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Finance
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years progressive experience working in Finance
- Knowledge of 300 ERP, an asset
- Willing to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Salary**: $36,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
