**Position Summary**:
ErinoakKids is currently seeking an experienced individual with a strong accounting background to fill the position of FFS Accounting Clerk. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this individual will be responsible for processing payments and reconciliation of payments related to the Fee-For-Service Autism Program.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Setup client recurring instalment payments in Meditech and Orbital Virtual Terminal.
- Validate payments against FFS tracker report to ensure all instalment payments have been received. Review FFS tracker report to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Follow up with families and program when instalment payments are not made per the agreed schedule.
- Provide timely responses to clients regarding payment inquiries; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with the Autism Services Clinical Sales Coordinators and Decision Support Team.
- Process approved FFS client refunds biweekly.
- Assist in clearing errors on client accounts as required based on the appropriate approach. Resolve issues highlighted on audit reports in collaboration with FFS Autism program and Decision Support.
- Reconcile credit/debit card transactions daily to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. This include payment for Fee-For-Service by other means including cheques/bank drafts/etc. Taking appropriate actions to resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify cheques in transit for Accountant and payments in the bank reconciliation file that relate to FFS Austim.
- Ensure that internal controls are established and working effectively.
- Acquire knowledge of the program and processes.
- Provide general support to the finance department as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree/Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Actively pursuing a professional accounting designation would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to deal effectively with staff, clients, and others within the community.
- Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a sensitive and confidential manner.
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in the Healthcare sector and Meditech software is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
