We’re Sienci Labs. We’ve made it our business to bring previously industrial manufacturing technologies to the masses. Our company’s focus is on CNC routers. Just as 3D printing acts as an additive manufacturing technology to build up unique parts, CNC routers act as a subtractive manufacturing technology to remove material from a blank to create a finished part.
We are a small but passionate and fast moving team of +30 people based in Waterloo ON.
**Job description**
As a Business Development Manager at Sienci Labs, your primary role is to work with the management and operations team to help develop our business and structure in the company.
**Responsibilities and requirements**
These would be your main day to day roles and responsibilities.
- Lead business development projects
- Conduct market research and use data for making projections
- Find areas to save costs and improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate with consultants and accounting firms
**Assests**
- US and Canada corporate structures, accounting, taxes, and law
- Working with debt, lines of credit, and external funding
- SRED and other government grants and programs
- Ecommerce and online business development
- CNC, 3D printing, laser cutting, and other rapid prototyping technologies
