JOB SUMMARY

As the Specialist, HR Programs you will be responsible for researching, implementing, and delivering programs and services in the talent and performance management space, learning and development function as well as our culture, diversity, and community initiatives. You will work alongside the Programs team in the creation and implementation of programs and initiatives in order to achieve organizational objectives drive engagement, retention and the FCT employer brand.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

- Contribute to the design, development, optimization, and implementation of talent and culture programs, including researching talent and culture related issues and recommending processes, and solutions
- Administer and support FCT’s employee listening framework including employee feedback processes and engagement survey programs
- Collaborate with members of the Programs team in the development and delivery of culture and community initiatives and programs, including communications, rollout plans, and follow-up activities
- Lead and/or actively participate in projects and initiatives in collaboration with FCT’s Community partners
- Provide support to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Manage vendor relationships and administration of program portals, provide reports and recommendations to leadership, and maintain point of contact for employee inquiries. This includes processing and tracking of HR invoices
- Design and deliver communications for cultural celebrations in support of FCT’s Diversity and Inclusion calendar
- Manage and participate in events to drive employee engagement
- Collect data and develop insights for programs to enable continuous improvements
- Support programs that accompany the employee life cycle including employee orientation, performance management, development planning and succession management
- Collaborate with team members on learning and development programs and campaigns via third party vendors or in house programming.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

- 3+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Excellent administration skills and detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while remaining organized and effectively managing time
- Ability to use data to identify trends, explain the "story" and provide solutions for improvement
- Ability to work in a fluid and challenging work environment with changing deadlines
- A strong record of teamwork with the motivation and ability to work independently with little supervision
- Possesses a reputation for resourcefulness with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new technology programs
