We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team for a contract up to 15 months. The HR Generalist is the first point of contact for all HR inquiries from prospective employees, current employees, leaders, external service providers and the HR community. The position is responsible for the full functionality of our recruitment process, employee onboarding and offboarding, employee leaves, benefits and associated Human Resource Information System (HRIS) administration. The HR Generalist is the functional specialist for our human capital management, recruitment and benefits operations. They will liaise and maintain relations with our external service providers and vendors and are accountable for identifying optimization opportunities for the continual evolution of our HR operations.Address all employee and leader inquires with regards to general employment, benefits, leaves, recruitment, employee onboarding/offboarding and related policies and procedures.

HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

- Responsible for the full functionality of our recruitment process including associated HRIS administration. You are the first point of contact for external recruitment vendors with regards to all open recruitment requisitions.
- Responsible for all benefits administration, short-term and long-term disability administration including working directly with our external service providers to ensure all employee files are progressing smoothly.
- Administer all employee life-cycle activities (onboarding to terminations) in our HRIS (Workday) system and prepare associated documentation to meet audit requirements.
- Supports the HR COE’s with the operational side of their programs and initiatives.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

- 2-3 years’ experience an HR generalist role
- HRIS experience is required, Workday experience is preferred
- Experience with benefits administration and the recruitment function is an asset
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field such as Business Administration
- Completion or enrolment in the CHRP/L certification program
