The National Diabetes Trust is Canada’s largest charitable clothing and small household good collection service. With more than 5,000 donations bins and an active home pick-up service in communities across Canada (excluding Quebec), we collect unwanted gently used clothing and household items, using them to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Canada.
Each year, the program diverts more than 100 million pounds of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada. As an employee on the National Diabetes Trust team, you are part of our national coverage in 2,500 communities, with 28 operations and 100 trucks. About the Territory Sales Rep (Independent Contractor) Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, client oriented salesperson looking to make a difference while doing what they love. As our Independent Contractor Territory Sales Rep, you will be responsible for scouting and securing new placement locations for our charity clothing donation bins within the Waterloo region.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Research designated region for bin placement opportunities
- Prospect and cold calling for new bin sites
- Negotiate with landlords/property owners and close bin placement agreements
- Create and manage your territory database

**What We Offer**:

- Potential to earn up to $1,500+ per week or more
- Compensation varies depending on number of new bin placements acquired
- Make your own hours - be your own boss
- Sales training and all marketing materials provided

About You
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Only applicants who have access to a vehicle, have a valid Driver’s License and insurance will be considered
- Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding targets
- Strong work ethics, “Hunter” sales mentality, goal driven and self-motivated
- Skillful negotiations, presentation and closing abilities
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be able to travel the designated territory
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills
