As the Account Executive, you will focus on prospecting and qualifying leads with a focus on closing sales, supporting existing clients, formulating sales strategies, and communicating product value to customers. A typical workday consists of prospecting, outreach, prequalifying cold leads, scheduling phone calls with qualified leads, identifying sales opportunities, following up with leads, and consulting with customers while recording all of your activity in our CRM system.
**On-target-earnings range of $85,000 - $95,000 annually.** Base salary range will be commensurate with skills and experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by qualifying inbound leads and converting them into qualified sales opportunities. Supplement your inbound pipeline with outbound outreaches, as needed, to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Work closely with the Customer Success Managers on account transitions for account maintenance. Provide the CSMs with inside information about the client, how they like to work, tips for how they negotiate, and anything else that they may need to know upon taking on the management of their accounts.
- Listen diligently to what prospects have to say (in general) and ensure that our products are suitable for their needs and requirements. Document opportunities and provide suggestions to management for our monthly products meeting, to assist the Company to continually innovate and remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Record all your efforts into Active Campaign (CRM) and log sales/commission information in an excel spreadsheet as directed by the Sales Manager, the format of which may change from time to time.
- Assist the Sales Manager on any top-level task, as they may need your expertise.
- Any tasks related to inbound and outbound sales opportunities
- Any tasks related to lead engagement and follow-ups
- Providing KPI reports as requested, and other reporting that may be required by the sales department from time to time.
- Acting on behalf of the Sales Manager in the event of any absence from work which may include attending sales meetings/calls on the Sales Manager’s behalf.
- Manage any new accounts in your portfolio for up to 2 years, including:
- Prioritizing account outreach based on a “Tier” system (higher value clients should get higher priority)
- Regular check-ins with appropriate accounts to build strong, long-lasting, and positive customer relationships
- Assisting and advising clients regarding any service or billing related inquiries/issues that affect their account (including abuse of our Terms of Service and customer retention)
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and improving on it wherever possible
- Identifying and capitalizing on account growth opportunities and orchestrating discussions with executives around their business needs.
- Building a list of ideal customers that you have identified through the prospecting process.
- From time to time the Company or your clients may urgently require your expertise outside of regular business hours.
- Attend events with (or on behalf of) ServerMania, including trade shows, industry events, and global network events.
- Must be able to attend weekly and/or monthly meetings (in-person) as required by the sales team or other departments.

**Requirements**:
- 3-4+ years' experience in an inside sales lead generation role, preferably in B2B technology.
- Proven track record of prospecting and selling technology products.
- Powerful analytical and data management skills necessary to identify trends in products, pricing, and market direction.
- Able to use 3rd party and primary research to analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors to develop and prioritize valuable product features.
