As a member of the Sales team and as a new Zelus Material Handling family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.
The Sales Manager will lead and support the Zelus outside sales team in the sale of overhead cranes, hoists, overhead doors, and related services to our customers in Ontario, and throughout Canada.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and support a team of 4 outside sales professionals
- Leverage *Salesforce to help coordinate sales activities and ensure follow-up on opportunities and high-value accounts
- Generate and communicate sales-related data through *Salesforce
- Create reports and dashboards for the sales team as well as the leadership team
- Develop and execute yearly sales strategy and individual sales targets with the support of the sales and leadership team
- Responsible for account management for a select group of established key accounts
- Master and reinforce product knowledge for existing and new products and services
- Acquire intimate knowledge of overhead crane and door customer base
- Review and negotiate the terms of high specification tenders/contracts
- Review and approve all outgoing estimates and incoming orders for accuracy and projected profitability
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience managing a high performing, technical sales team with the aid of a CRM
- Experience with Salesforce an asset
- Motivated sales professional with demonstrated success in previous roles
- Experience in industrial equipment sales an asset (crane/door experience)
- Experience setting up distribution channels an asset
- Experience estimating equipment and/or services an asset
- Ability to work in industrial environments
