*Overview*

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Finance and Administration Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both financial management and administrative functions, including information technology, within our organization. This role works with all members of our team on a daily basis, and assists the executive director with operational planning.

*Duties*
- Supports cost management activities by assisting in budget preparation and monitoring
- Performs clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Performs payroll for small business
- Contributes to business development initiatives through research and analysis
- Handles accounts payable tasks efficiently, including reconciliations processes in government setting
- Provides administrative support for IT hardware and software
- Supports administrative needs of the organization

*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance role is preferred
- Experience with payroll
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with bookkeping/accounting packages such as Sage 50 (Simply Accounting)
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $47,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
