Sales Account Manager

We are currently looking for an ambitious, driven, and competitive Sales Account Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you are responsible for promoting and selling API’s to pharmacies predominantly in the USA, and in Canada.
As a Sales Account Manager your goal is to maximize sales growth and capture market share. This requires a self-driven individual who is a _**“hunter”**_ and an expert at relationship building.
The SAM’s primary responsibility is to support two critical Strategic Imperatives: developing and securing new customers while maintaining & growing existing customers.

**General Responsibilities**
- Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to cold call on pharmacies.
- Prospects for new business opportunities: by expanding existing customers molecules focusing on potential volume of all clients and by calling on new accounts.
- Gains and maintains market share by creating strong business development strategies and negotiating long-term contracts.
- Builds positive trusting relationships with pharmacists to meet their needs.
- Responsible for coordinating sales activities with various departments including QC/QA.
- Creates call continuity/addresses opportunities from previous calls.
- Actively participates in sales meetings, conference calls, trade shows and events.
- Creates a Development Action Plan and follows through on the developmental goals.
- Keeps accurate records, weekly call logs. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports. Regularly reviews the performance metrics of his/her territory to determine progress to their plan and adjusts accordingly.
Maintains complete product knowledge and serves as an added value to our customer base and distinguishes A.X from competitors.
Maintains complete competitor information. Monitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Continually increases technical and industry knowledge and performs other related duties as required.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$215,000.00 per year
