The Centre for International Experience (CIE), within the Division of Student Life and the Office of Vice President International, provides students opportunities so they can expand their learning into the global arena. We work with students, academic units, local and global community to create sustainable and diverse learning abroad experiences that incorporate study, research and professional opportunities. We work in partnership with faculties and services to enable students new to Canada to maximize their time at U of T to meet their goals and aspirations on graduation. Finally, we work to build global learning opportunities on campus curricular, co-curricular and experiential.

**Your opportunity**:
The Resource and Information Coordinator will provide front-line support to the Centre for International Experience and its visitors. Reporting to the Assistant Director, International Student and Scholar Experience, the Coordinator is responsible for the activities of the Resource and Information Hub and overseeing a team of student staff to provide excellent front-line support. The Coordinator supports the International Experience teams with events and triaging, disseminates information and communications to international students, and maintains our website, social media, and digital communication channels.

The Coordinator is part of the International Student Experience team and is responsible for the delivery of all services and duties under the Resource andInformation Hub. This includes: training, scheduling and directing the work of a team of student staff to deliver exceptional, friendly and professional front-line service; maintain and update the International Student Experience webpages and the new e-Library for International Students; support event and program delivery at the Centre for International Experience; prepare print and online communications; coordinate the content and release of the ISE e-newsletter; ensures all events, programs and activities are promoted efficiently through our print and digital communications channels; works with tri-campus International Student Centres, Student Life partners and faculties to coordinate cross-promotions and event logistics; screens and makes referrals toappropriate resources and services across U of T as required.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Directing the activities of casual staff
- Developing content for marketing and/or promotional materials
- Implementing plans across a broad range of marketing/communication channels
- Editing content for brochures, newsletters, websites and/or handbooks
- Promoting departmental events and programs to students
- Booking rooms and arranging appropriate accommodations

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in international student experience, front line service, events management and marketing/communications is required.
- Of the 2 years related experience, a minimum 1 year demonstrated experience in marketing and communications including social media, website, e-newsletter content creation is required.
- Of the 2 years related experience, a minimum 1 year demonstrated experience running successful front line services including training, scheduling and overseeing the work of student/casual staff is required.
- Of the 2 years related experience, a minimum 1 year demonstrated experience with supporting event coordination including logistics and delivery is required.
- Knowledge of student transitions into international higher education landscapes required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of multi-campus international student support services and international student experience from the Student Life lens required.
- Proven experience in working in flexible environments and in dealing with uncertainty is
