The Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport is seeking a Part-time Front Desk Agent who is dynamic and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.

He will be responsible for creating a memorable first and last impression, handling reservations, providing local area information, and performing various guest service duties. A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous guest service experience in a hotel for a minimum of 1 year is required.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada to be considered.
- A friendly personality and a "can do" attitude.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Must be able to multi-task with a excellent attention to details
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
- Excellent selling skills and attention to details
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with hotel Property Management Systems (Agilysys preferred)
- Able to work flexible hours and overnight. Night shift availability is a must.

**Work Environment**:

- Standing for long periods, repetitive motions, sitting, listening and visual acuity.
- Overtime as required.
- Multi-tasked working environment.
- Direct contact with guests, managers and co-workers.
- Unionized.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.67-$23.67 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
