**Primary Purpose**:
The Coordinator, Student Admissions Services will work with a variety of departments through out Acsenda to ensure that there are strong communications between the incoming student and the required academic and non-academic supports. The Coordinator, Student Admissions Services will also work with in the Registrar Office setting up and identifying student needs through out the admissions intake, and ensuring required advising is in place, they will also work with student success and related housing, employment and other related services.
A range of workshops and related programming will be established and supported to ensure incoming students have efficient and easy access to related supports and services. Attention will also be placed on transition support to ensure safety and security of international learners coming to Canada. This may include ensuring accommodations and transfers on arrival are confirmed, a network of fellow students is established in advance, and emergency information is shared and confirmed with new arrivals. Immigration advising is a key component of the position and the coordinator must be RISIA trained or are currently in process.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
- Conduct market research and develop recommendations on offshore market conditions and current student pipelines
- Maintain student records including inquiries, applicants and matriculants in Salesforce and Acsenda’s Student information System
- Routinely preform data audits for all current students for Acsenda School of Management and advise on current statuses of new student and deferred student conversion.
- In collaboration with Associate Registrar, manage all conversion initiatives to increase the yield rate of all admitted students
1. Conversion and Enrollment
- Effectively develop a strategic plan to convert submitted to an enrollment
- Assist students and agents in terms of identifying key next steps based on the student’s current status
- Assist in development and implementation of yield events (e.g. next steps webinar)
- Ensure that Visa submission is constantly by the student / agent
- In coordination with the Registrar’s Office, Enrolment Sprecialist’s and ASM Communications, run sessions to all recruitment staff and agents regarding training on any identified process, initiative or requirement that directly or indirectly supports conversion initiatives
- Work with the Admissions Team to ensure timely issuance or a student’s Letter of Acceptance
- Collaborate and Manage student engagement/announcement on a variety of platforms
- Monitor and report on student engagement by quantifying conversion monitoring of records in Salesforce and ASM SIS.
- Ensure that ASM ‘s knowledge bank are updated regularly (including process and product information)
- Develop student priority lists weekly, assign to Enrolment Specialists
- Work with recruitment directors to identify & provide the list of students who requires further follow up with educational agents.
- Assist in priority servicing of agents in terms of distributing pipeline updates for specified educational agents.
2. Pipeline Management
- _Preform a regular student record audit to identify missing students in a partner institution report _
- Identify key trends in student actions (i.e. declining offer, visa refusal rates, admit to commit rates)
- Regularly provide a identify and correct students whose salesforce records do not match ASM SIS records
- Preform all continuing student statuses twice per term (3 weeks prior to term star & add/drop date)
3.Data Analysis, Reporting and Project Management
- Identify opportunities to convert based on (1) student status (2) conversion timeline (3) student citizenship
- Assist Registrar and Associate Registrar to complete all necessary ad hoc, weekly, monthly, term and annual reports
- IN collaboration with Associate Registrar identify possible risks ion conversion cycle & carry out necessary initiatives to ensure strategy continuity and institutional goals are achieved
- Ensure that all projects assigned are completed in a timely manner
- Analyze weekly leading indicators to identify trends in student decision making process and assist in minimizing delays within the admissions process
4.Immigration Advising and Compliance
- Observe and report on trends in immigration and admissions processes for post-secondary education.
