**Overview**:
SMS Security is a mid-sized security systems company who has been in business for 30 years. We supply Security Guards and Technician services to condominium buildings across the GTA. A successful Assistant Finance Coordinator will be someone who has experience in the financial or accounting sector and has great analytical skills. Previous experience working with various accounting softwares is an advantage.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Work with Quickbooks to Update and Create Accounts.
- Manage invoicing.
- Coordinate Financial Reporting.
- Prepare reconciliations as assigned.
- Prepare and review Project and Service calls profitability.
- Assistance in setting up accounting and reporting infrastructure.
- Design and development of management reports.
- Assisting in setting up inventory including physical inventory count and a reportable inventory system.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- Proficient Excel skills: (Formulas, charts, macros, pivots, VBAs, etc.)
- Knowledge about Accounting, Finance & Valuation
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Student enrolled in Business Administration - Accounting advanced diploma
- Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting principles
- Diplomatic and able to exercise tact when dealing with confidential matters.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
