Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with some Administrative Assistance ability to join our team. While the key role is bookkeeping, you will play a helpful role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes. As our company grows, you will have the opportunity to work full time.
**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
**Experience**:
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
- Administrative Assistance would be beneficial
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience with accounting/bookkeeping
- Experience with SAGE 50 Accounting software
- Good computer literacy with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with small or medium-sized businesses
- Organized and good communication skills
**Responsibilities**:
- Bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Conduct bank reconciliations and credit card account reconciliations
- Utilize accounting software Sage 50 to input and manage financial data
- Payroll input and management for 4 employees
- Provide general administrative, marketing, and maintenance support
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Depending on your level of experience, skills, and interests, you may also:
- implement marketing of properties for lease
- assist with property management software data entry and relief
**Job Type**: Part-time (possibly to Full-time)
**Pay**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.)
**Expected hours**: 20-30 per week
Hours can fluctuate, depending on time of year and workload. There is also flexibility on start and end time to fit your schedule. Some work (bookkeeping) could be done remotely.
