Belle River, Canada Shift Employment Inc. Full time

General practice Law office in Belle River is looking for an experienced in-house bookkeeper. Prior experience in legal office is essential. Position is available immediately.

**Responsibilities**:
Preparing invoices for clients in PCLaw

Filing quarterly Lawpro transaction levy

Filing yearly Lawpro renewal also assisting and tracking all LSO due dates and filing for the firm

Assisting with paying HST and corporate tax online. Calculations done by accountant.

Entering office related credit card expenses in PCLaw

Initiating vendor payment on RBC website

Billings (trust to general transfers)

Ability to post trust cheques and receipts, prepare deposits and have knowledge of LSUC rules and regulations

Reconcile monthly trust and general bank statements

Maintain accounting records

Prepare financial statements and other reports

Payroll processing

**Qualifications**:
PCLaw proficiency

Prior experience in legal office

Ability to work well with others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Belle River, ON N0R1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- PC Law: 1 year (preferred)
