Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

Kontur Geotechnical Consultants Inc. (Kontur) is a full-service geotechnical consulting firm that provides engineering consultation and construction field reviews for a wide array of projects and clients throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Kontur’s foundation is built on quality people doing great work in a rewarding environment.
Kontur is growing and is seeking a full-time, permanent _Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant _to become part of Kontur’s team. This position will be based at the main, Port Coquitlam, location.
Job Requirements
- Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills (English).
- Must possess exceptional organizational (electronic and paper) and time-management skills.
- Training in organizational quality management is an asset.
- Must be very flexible to accommodate the needs of Professional/Technical Engineering staff.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft 365.
- Must be willing and able to demonstrate the ability to learn new _Accounting_ or _Project Management_ and become proficient with the software.
- Knowledge/experience of Deltek Vantagepoint is an asset.
Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivables principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience.
This is a full-time permanent position. Annual Salary/Compensation will be commensurate to experience. This position is also eligible to participate in Kontur’s Group Benefits, Performance Bonus, and Continued Professional Development plans/policies.
