This is an administrative position within a Structural Engineering firm. Tasks will be related to Architectural and Engineering projects. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our office.
- **Qualifications**:_
- **Residence within 50 km of office location preferred**:
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Skilled in data entry, filing, and maintaining organizational systems
- Experienced in providing excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous administrative experience and strong attention to detail
- Bookkeeping/accounting experience is an asset
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Accurate record-keeping
- **Primary Duties**:_
- Invoicing and duties in relation to invoicing using QuickBooks software.
- Data entry, filing, and bookkeeping.
- Answering & fielding phone calls and messages. Manage multi-line communication systems and provide exceptional customer service.
- Other administrative tasks: filing, some cleaning, organizing.
- Creating new projects and inputting necessary information.
- Submitting & managing permits at Municipalities.
- Document drafting: proposals, sign-off letters etc.
- Work collaboratively with team members and clients to ensure accuracy of work.
- Corresponding with clients and employees regarding ongoing projects.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
