Toronto, Canada Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres Full time

**Objective**:
To ensure optimal performance of OFIFC programs through Friendship Centre support, program planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Undertakes program and policy research, analysis and advocacy on issues related to Friendship Centres towards improving the outcomes for urban Indigenous people.
- Conduct research, needs assessments, and analysis to understand and address the needs, gaps, challenges, and priorities of the Friendship Centres.
- Develop provincial program tools, plans, proposals, and budgets, for programs.
- Participates in the design and development of Indigenous-led, culture-based programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build effective working relationships with Friendship Centre staff, management, and Executive Directors.
- Plans, designs, and delivers activities that support effective program delivery, program integration, and management in Friendship Centres,
- Delivers program orientation and ongoing support to Friendship Centre staff, ensuring that programs and activities are carried out in accordance with the goals, objectives, and standards of the program,
- Delivers orientation and user training on the OFIFC’s database system to Friendship Centre program staff and other user groups as required.
- Provides program information, advice, and expertise to Friendship Centres.
- Supports Friendship Centre in the development of local and/or regional level partnerships, including advocacy and negotiations;
- Support the implementation of regional meetings, gatherings, and events to help build relationships and capacity for Friendship Centre staff; and,
- Conduct field visits to provide direct support to Friendship Centres and gather information.
- Analyzes Friendship Centre program data and produces written analysis.
- Identify Friendship Centre needs, gaps, priorities, and challenges, and effectively communicate information to other areas in OFIFC (e.g., Senior Program Advisors, Policy Analysts, and Instructors).
- Measures, analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of OFIFC programs to demonstrate outcomes and impacts.
- Monitors and reviews program activity and financial reporting to ensure data quality assurance, effective budget management and reporting compliance; and,
- Prepares written reports, briefing materials, and presentations for internal and external audiences, including issue analysis, recommendations, and risk assessments.

Education/Work Experience:

- Post-secondary education in Social Science, Community Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 3 - 5 years experience in program or project management
- Minimum 1 year experience in data analysis
- Experience working within an Indigenous community
