**We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transitional Housing Advisor-Housing and Homeless** **Program 64,000** **You will bring your experience in 5 years of Social Work/Services and or Community Outreach work and working with the Addiction Mental Health or the Homeless**
- **Toronto Downtown On Site 64,000 Plus full Benefits and matching RRSP. Working with one of Canadas largest foundations you will work with the Director of Programs to ensure leadership, coordinated development and achievement of the agency’s Transitional Housing program’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities; You will Manage and lead a team**
- Ensure programming, policies and procedures that are consistent with orgs vision, values, and that meets strategic and operational objectives
- Lead the agency’s team-based strategic and annual planning process and plan and prepare for program reviews and audits
- Lead and update the agencies strategic priorities and annual goals, manage their achievement, evaluate and report goal outcomes
- Ensure program policies and procedures are developed, implemented and reviewed annually in accordance with Operating Policies Accreditation Standards and Review Procedures, legislative requirements and funding expectations, and promising practices
- Ensure program policies are diverse and meet community and cultural needs

- Ensure that individualized support plans/service agreements are developed and provided for participants/clients to promote personal development and personal
- Ensure program and agency documentation is maintained as per policies
- Work collaboratively within our communities and continually build and maintain good relationships and/or strategic partnerships with external agencies and networks
- Develop community partnerships which will enhance the programs and opportunities available for participants/clients and staff. Work collaboratively with other relevant service providers to create supports
- Professional self-development to respond to agency and participant/client needs
- Foster cooperation, effective communication and unity of purpose between all programs and departments
- Conduct case conference and other meetings, ensure minutes are recorded and circulated to team members and the Director of Programs
- Be aware of risk management factors and possibilities for minimizing and controlling for risks
- Work to achieve an efficient, effective, safe and healthy work environment, and carry out responsibilities in a fiscally responsible manner
- Lead, develop, train and supervise program staff including students to ensure work performance and maintenance of professional standards and records.
- Provide clinical supervision including performance reviews, hiring new staff, training and orientation of new staff, ensuring all staff adhere to professional documentation
- Work collaboratively and maintain harmonious relations with all staff, management and the community

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION**
- Bachelor or preferably masters’ degree in social work or related field
- Five to seven years of prior related experience in social services programs planning, development and management, including leadership and clinical supervision of employees. Two years’ experience managing people / resources
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mental health and/or addictions, working with the homeless
- Knowledge of trauma informed services
- Familiarity with a wide variety of resources and services in the GTA
- Proven leadership capacity
- High level of comfort working with a diverse and multicultural environment
- Resourcefulness, creativity and persistence in identifying and prioritizing needs, responding to emerging trends, opportunities or challenges, and for developing and implementing new approaches
- Commitment to collaborative practice, with ability to develop and sustain collaborations with colleagues from multiple external community organizations including funding agencies
- Fully Vaccinated
- Certificates in First Aid/CPR, Crisis Intervention
- A Criminal Record Check clearance
- A valid Driver’s License
