**The role**

As a Program Advisor on the Channel Programs & Events team, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders and sales teams to identify needs and build channel recognition, incentive and event plans. You will develop program strategies, metrics and execution plans, while managing and measuring the impact of these programs. In this role you will own the retail events portfolio, which includes managing budgets, executing retail events and, building strategies that offer an experiential and engaging opportunity to reward, recognize and engage sales teams. Key accountabilities of this role include partner/stakeholder management, partner negotiations, strategy development, event planning and execution, project and timeline management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and executing partner program incentives and tracking program metrics.

**A typical day**

The Program Advisor will be responsible for developing engaging and effective event plans and incentive strategies, while also managing and maintaining those that are already in market. Day to day tasks include the following:
Program Planning & Management:

- Analyze sales opportunities and identify areas to incent and recognize retail sales teams.
- Build and execute vendor sponsored programs, including store visits, in-store events, and incentives.
- Build incentive launch and sustainment plans, including launch communications, progress reports and winners announcements.
- Evaluate program effectiveness, post-completion, by measuring results and working with reporting teams to assess business impact.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to build project timelines and track project deliverables.
- Partner with sales teams and other key stakeholder groups to gather feedback and build adoption plans.

Event Planning & Execution:

- Meet with sales leaders to build annual event roadmap.
- Develop event strategy, theme and execution approach for sales townhalls, roadshows and experiential incentive prizes.
- Build and manage event project plans; ensuring timelines, scope and budgets are adhered to.
- Work with vendors to arrange for event execution and payment.
- Build communication strategy to engage and inform event attendees.
- Act as the onsite event liaison for Freedom.

**Your skills/experience**
- 3 - 5 years developing and managing programs with a focus on sales/channel-facing initiatives.
- 3 - 5 years event planning and execution experience.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong partner/vendor management skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects running concurrently from inception to launch.
- Expert in detail-oriented work.

- This role is based out of Toronto.
- Travel required up to 20% of the time within Canada (when travel is permitted)
