**Job Description - Rentals Coordinator**

The rentals coordinator is a focal point for St. Albert 50+ Activity & Service Centre for all rental matters of all inner and outer areas and facilities in and around Red Willow Place. Day to day duties consist of the following:
**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Take rental bookings and maintain current rental lists and information
- Provide rental contract with fees to bookkeeper for invoicing
- Provide positive and enthusiastic service to customers
- Create contracts
- Keep equipment organized and clean
- Answer telephone and online inquiries from customers, good customer service voice on the phone - pleasant and cheerful
- Communicate in a positive and solution focus with other members of staff and volunteers
- Recruit, train and organize volunteers to help with setting up and taking down events for rentals and for the Centre
- Communicate with Event Director on up-coming events, and assist with Centre event
- Communicate with customers before and after an event
- Ensure the event runs smoothly
- Ensure all equipment is stored correctly
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding catering
- Place all room rental events in Outlook calendar while not conflicting with centre events
- Provide support to Event Director with her events, including helping to set up volunteers for setup/take down
- Recruit and train volunteer bartenders for renters, if needed, and charge the renter
- Promote rentals in the community
- Ensure facility is clean before and after an event
- Must work evenings and weekends as needed to oversee rentals
- Must work Saturdays at the front desk and oversee the snack bar volunteers
- Must learn database, credit card machines, and follow all cash/credit protocols on Saturdays, while running the front desk and overseeing volunteer for snack bar
- Help with clean up after events and take down
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new database via self teaching and online tutorials
- Excellent organization skills
- Good communications skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects at least 30 lbs.
- Tuesday - Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate renters
- Good attitude, ability to resolve issues and work in a self-directed manner

Full-time 37.5 hours a week

Salary $40000 to $45,000

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
