_**Schedule: This position will have fluctuating hours throughout the year, with an anticipated 30 hours per week in peak summer season from 11am-5pm Monday to Friday.**_

Our main business activities include site preparation, land development, road building, municipal sewer and water installations, golf course management, as well as landscape construction, design, maintenance, and renovation.

**Role Summary**
Reporting to the Controller and the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing front reception and accounts receivable support. Based out of our Head Office in Charlottetown, this role will be the point person for internal and external communication.

**What You’ll Do**
- Support accounts payable with invoice coding and filing.
- Complete data entry and account balancing as assigned.
- Greet visitors and answer questions, direct them to meeting rooms and connect them with employees.
- Create and maintain effective electronic and paper filing systems as required.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and customers.
- Establish and maintain a calendar of events, arrange meetings and schedule appointments.
- Manage office supplies, including placing orders as requested.
- Adhere and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**
- 1+ years experience in office administration, business or similar role required.
- Post-secondary education in office administration considered an asset.
- Technologically proficient in phone, computer, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to effectively multi-task and remain organized in a high paced environment.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
