**JOB SUMMARY**

AGLC is committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Our team in Human Resources is passionate about making a positive impact, and we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team.

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this position is responsible for providing executive administrative support plus financial and office co-ordination responsibilities for the Human Resources Division. To ensure we are providing our clients with prompt and excellent service, the Executive Assistant works collaboratively with all HR team members and other divisions and provides support to the broader HR team, including the Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manages the Vice President’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings, and briefs the Vice President on priorities and relevant issues.
- Supports the Vice President and HR leaders to manage the Division’s deliverables and strategic goals.
- Coordinates the collection of information to support the Vice President’s attendance at Executive Team, Board and Board Sub-Committee meetings.
- Co-ordinates the HR Division’s financial activities related to budget, payroll, purchasing and payment of invoices.
- Attends a variety of HR meetings and prepares agendas, takes minutes and follows up to ensure the completion of action items.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**

A High School Diploma and at least 3 years of experience directly supporting executive or senior leadership is required. Experience in a Human Resources and/or union environments are an asset.

The following will be considered assets:

- Experience preparing and tracking budget submissions, payroll and procurement.
- Advanced Microsoft Office computer skills, experience using Adobe, and proficiency in using SharePoint.

**NOTE**:

- As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.
