**Position Description**:
General responsibilities for all CRPAs include:

- Monitor project work plans
- Contribute to development of REB documents including study protocol and informed consent forms based on regulations, templates and institutional requirements
- Identify and recruit potential participants
- Screen patients for study eligibility
- Obtain informed consent
- Extract data from electronic medical records (i.e., Epic and ChartMaxx)
- Collect and enter research data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of operating procedures to ensure adherence to study protocols, institutional requirements and regulatory obligations
- Purchase supplies needed for study conduct

We are hiring CRPA to support two specific projects. Additional responsibilities for the projects are as follows:
Rare-Pediatric Eye Cancer Biobank:

- Working under the supervision of the Senior R-PEC Biobank Coordinator:

- Receive biospecimen from SickKids and referral sites
- Utilize biobanking software to document biospecimen inventory
- Support onboarding and training of new referral sites
- Act as point-of-contact for referral sites
- Support preparation of accrual reports
- Monitoring electronic medical records at SickKids to identify procedures that might result in a potential biospecimen

Genetic Risk Stratification Guidelines for Retinoblastoma:

- Comprehensively review electronic medical records including genetic testing reports
- Coordinate workshop to achieve risk stratification consensus

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of clinical research experience aligning with aforementioned role(s).
- Demonstrated experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

- Pediatric Ophthalmology research
- Epic
- REDCap
- Chart reviews
- Biobanking
- Grant writing
- Superior communication, organization and time management skills
- Meticulous attention-to-detail
- Ability to work independently with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
